Colin McElroy became a member of the VPE team in 2015 after completing his PhD in Physics from the University of California, San Diego. For over seven years he has established an expertise in the synthesis and characterization of novel materials in addition to conducting cutting edge measurements of their electronic and magnetic properties under the extreme conditions of low temperature, high magnetic field and high applied pressure.
Colin brings experience in in areas of nanofabrication, classical electrodynamics, quantum and classical mechanics, plasma physics, mathematical methods and solid state physics to make him a valued member of the VPE team.
