Our Team![]() Mikhail KuffelVacuum Process Engineering hired Mikhail in 2005 to serve as a Project Engineer involved in process development, research & development, experimental design, and production/manufacturing. He has experience in various forms of diffusion bonding, vacuum brazing, PVD coating, and metallography. Areas of focus include fast ramp silica and stainless retort brazing, fluxless brazing of aluminum to dissimilar metals, diffusion bonding of aluminum, diffusion bonding of concentric cylindrical assemblies, low temperature diffusion bonding, PVD metallization of ceramics, and metallographic analysis of numerous material combinations.
