Our Team

Carl P. Schalansky

Co-founded by Paul and Carl Schalansky, Vacuum Process Engineering began its business venture out of the humble beginnings of Paul and May Schalansky's home garage.

In 1988 Vacuum Process Engineering was incorporated and moved into a 1,500 square foot facility. As the company steadily grew over several years, it expanded to 9000 sq ft and required that other larger facilities be created. Today, VPE operates out of three facilities totaling 100,000 square feet.

Carl attributes the growth and maturation of the company to its ability to resolve fabrication of complicated assemblies and complex problems based in materials science. The company uses its modern high-tech facility, years of experience, and know-how in meeting the demands of high technology customers worldwide.
