Assemblies

In the production job shop, we fabricate high quality components for demanding customers. Precision assembly of critical components is routine. Services are geared to the manufacture of components or systems that require welding, precision brazing and/or heat treating, leak detection, and assembly. We are ISO 9001:2000 registered.

Below are examples of past assemblies:

	Brazed aircraft heat exchange assembly manufactured from 321 and 304L stainless steel.
	Step-brazed jet engine temperature sensor assembly consisting of Inconel capillary tubing, molybdenum plate, metallized ceramic insulator body, and Kovar tubing.
	Approximately 2.5" diameter ceramic-to-Inconel insulation body assembly; service is air/vacuum at 600C.
	Ultra high vacuum feedthrough, all components and certain design aspects were provided by VPE. The feedthrough meets especially low outgassing characteristics specified by the customer.
	This assembly is used as an element of a cryogenic heat exchanger. It consists of several hundred-photoetched stainless steel and copper platelets pinned together to assure precise alignment and optimal efficiency. The assembly is hermetic despite the thin wall sections and hundreds of lineal feet of exposed joints.
	One portion of a diffusion bonded 300mm wafer aluminum cooling plate containing a serpentine hermetic water channel.
	Beam dump brazement consisting of pyrolytic graphite segments vacuum brazed to a CDA 101 water cooled copper assembly.
