Company News![]() Company NewsPosted: Monday, December 21, 2009 VPE continues to provide volume production of technically sophisticated assemblies as well as prototyping and process development services. Most recently we have used our aluminum microchannel diffusion bonding and brazing expertise to a develop and launch M*-to-Aluminum dissimilar metal joining for larger scale production. Note: 'M*' represents "Metals" including Copper, Nickel, stainless steel. Using appropriate metallization and eyelet techniques ceramics may also be joined to aluminum. In the last half of 2009 we happily experienced a very substantial increase in the number of specialized heat exchangers we manufacture. In the future, this market is expected to grow for both simple "cold plates" as well as for more sophisticated microchannel fabrications. Be sure to take advantage of our recently added an "Ask an Engineer" button in each of our services tabs. We enjoy responding to many of your interesting questions ranging from design, materials selection, and other aspects related to diffusion bonding, sputtering and vacuum brazing to volume capacity for production of medical and defense related projects.
